One word - WOW! These Gardein Fishless Filets are so good and so easy to make! Just follow the package instructions - you can either bake or fry them (we preferred to bake them - less oil needed and still crispy!). The texture and taste are just right. We found them at our local grocery store (Ralph's) in the freezer section. They are also at Sprouts in the Southern California area.
We just discovered Gardein's Mini Crispy Crabless Cakes a couple of weeks ago and they are great too! Create your own vegan seafood basket with this pair!
Try these with some vegan tartar sauce - here is our quick recipe:
Vegan Tartar Sauce:
1 cup Vegenaise
1/2 package Simply Organic Creamy Dill Dip
2 tablespoons sweet relish
1 tablespoon (or to taste) mustard
Mix all ingredients and serve as a dipping sauce for the fishless filets.
